Silver is a metal that has been worn for many thousands of years
, but one of the most common is easy to problems with it is the fact that it can be very difficult to clean and will come worn and tarnished over time. If you have a silver necklace that you need to clean, then consider some of these following to do so.
One very simple method that you can use in order to clean any type of silver is to get a toothbrush and some white toothpaste and then to scrub the necklace thoroughly. After doing this then you simply need to wash off the toothpaste and then run the silver down using a cloth. If you were to use this on a very regular basis then your silver jewellery should remain very clean.
You could also make a cleaning paste using three parts baking soda and one part water. Scrub the necklace using this paste, rinse it in hot water, and then wipe it down. As an alternative to this you could simply soak the necklace in hot water to which you have added some baking soda for about five minutes.
You can also boil and your necklace in hot water that has an aluminium sheet added as well. Within this boiling water add a couple of rooms of baking soda and then allow the entire solution to boil all roughly 5 minutes. After this period, remove the necklace and shine it off. Repeating this every single day will certainly keep your necklace clean.
You could also simply go out and purchase some polish that will work on your silver as well. There should be lots of different types of polish you could purchase, and all you need do is follow the specific instructions that have been set out with the polish that you buy.
These are just a few different things that you could try, and any of them should have some decent results.
