Simple And Best Home Remedies For Hair Loss That You Can Try
Hair is found nearly everywhere on the body except for some places like the palm of our hand
, soles of feet and lips. Hair loss is the most common condition in many people. Although it is more common in men, this affects women also. Normally we all lose about fifty to hundred strands of hair every day. When the loss becomes much more than that, it is considered as a condition of hair loss and can finally lead to baldness. Our hair is made of keratin which is a protein. When a strand falls out, a new one grows back in the follicle. If this growth does not occur, it can cause baldness. But as we age, this process slows down and the growth decreases. In men the thinning starts off at the temples.
Age maybe a factor but there are many other causes of hair loss. It may be hereditary too. Some kinds of medications, chemicals, radiation therapy like chemo therapy or some illness can also start this loss. Other reasons are hormonal changes like during a pregnancy, scalp infection or some type of deficiency like iron deficiency. Improper diet does not provide the vitamins needed for the required hair growth. Stress leads to thinning and drying of hair which makes it dry brittle therefore easily breakable.
Hair is not critical for life but its loss can be very stressful. It contributes to the appearance of a person. Ways of cover it up are by wearing a wig or a hat or changing the hairstyle. Some opt for medications or even surgery like hair transplant. There are some home remedies which are quite simple and can be tried easily. Some of the home remedies are as follows
1. Olive oil: Warm little olive oil and apply it to your scalp. Do this regularly.
2. Amla Oil: Indian gooseberry or amla oil is quite effective. Rub this oil gently regularly.
3. Castor Oil: Frequent use and massage with castor oil is beneficial.
4. Almond Oil: Almond oil should be applied regularly to promote healthy growth and a healthy scalp.
5. Coconut Oil: Coconut oil and coconut milk both are very good for applying on scalp.
6. Onion: Grate onion and apply the juice. If done frequently it promotes growth even in bald patches.
7. Henna: Henna is a good conditioner for hair.
8. Lettuce: Include lettuce in your diet.
9. Alfalfa: Alfalfa juice with carrot juice is an effective tonic.
10. Massage: Massage your scalp with your finger tips to increase the blood circulation. This will activate the glands and increase growth.
Unhygienic habits should be taken care of. Keep your scalp clean and keep the infections away. Eat a balanced diet consisting of fresh fruits and fresh vegetables which provide your skin with essential vitamins and minerals required by the body to stay healthy and keep infections at bay.
Exercise and increase your intake of water. Water not only keeps the skin hydrated but flushes out the toxins from the body which cause such conditions. Avoid stress and relax.
