Simplify Your Life, Have The Same Doctor For The Family
Has your child ever brought home a form that you needed to fill out all kinds of information
? It has the "in case of an emergency" information and then it has all of your contact information and on the bottom of the form it asks who your child's doctor is. Do you have to stop and think about that trying to remember which doctor you take your child to? First you think of your doctor's phone number and then you think about your mom, who you have to call and schedule appointments for and then you remember your child's doctors phone number.
At that point do you think to yourself that you have too many doctor's offices that you have to go to. The other thing you have to remember is which doctor has which hours and charges what co-pay. For many this might not seem like a big deal, but it is just that one more thing to remember.
You really start to realize how nice it would be to have only one doctor when you are sick and your child is sick. Now you are calling the pediatrics office for your child and then you have to call your doctor's office for you to get an appointment. Now you are chasing to two different places for possibly the same sickness. Then the pediatrician says that after you bring in one more of your children for the same thing they will prescribe a prescription for strep throat or something like that over the phone. You are wishing that you had the same doctor so that you could count as the second one in the household.
Many will choose to go to a pediatrician for the children because they feel like they are specialized in children. Then they choose their family doctor for the adults since they specialize in adults. Have you ever stopped to think that there would be an option of finding a family doctor who specialized in both children and adults? Think about how nice it would be to be able to take the whole family to the same doctor. Then think about the doctor that your mom goes to because she is a senior citizen and felt like she needed one that specializes in those concerns. What if you could take her to the same doctor, because they have a practice that can take care of all of you? Wouldn't that simplify your life so much more and save you time?
