THE ROCK SAW
Just as the name implies, this is one of the skid steer attachments that is designed for cutting right through solid rock and concrete. It has a giant toothed wheel that is spun by a high torque planetary gear. Rock saw skid steer attachments are available with blade diameters of 48 inches or 60 inches. That means that they can slice a precise cut into solid rock up to 18 and 24 inches.
If a developer or home builder needs to slice a precise line into the side of a rocky mountainside to lay the foundation for a new home or a row of apartments, this is one of the most useful skid steer attachments he could own.
THE ROCK BREAKER
When the rock material that a skid steer operator is trying to get through does not need to be precisely cut, the rock breaker is the right choice among the skid steer attachments. THE ROCK CRUSHER

By way of a cleverly designed heavy duty drum system, it pulverizes rock adn concrete down to two inch gravel. With the drum system, the rock crusher does not use a weaker toothed mechanism to break material, which is less efficient.
The most excellent feature of the rock crusher has to be that it is one of the handful of specialized skid steer attachments that can scoop up the rock material to be broken, and then tilt it into an upright position for the crushing operation. The boom of the skid steer allows the operator to tilt the attachment, pick up the rocks, break up and deposit the gravel at any safe height.
