. When the skid loader was first conceived, owners began to think of new ways of using it, which has lead to a number of new products designed to fill new requirements.

And icy, slick conditions that would once have kept the skid steer tracks from really biting in under load are nothing to worry about. If that condition is met, then the skid steer snow cleats are easy to install and remove, simply by removing the side bolts and tightening the cleats onto the tread with an impact wrench. It is up to the operator to decide how many cleats to apply at equal intervals along the tread.
