Skin Aging 101
Skin aging is one of the most dreaded problem of women
, as well as men all over the world. Let's face it, no one wants to look old and wrinkly. That is why a lot of people are very conscious when it comes to their skin. Some will even do every possible way just to maintain youthful skin and slow down the appearance of skin aging.
Have you ever wondered why some people tend to "age" faster than others? It is because of genetics. This explains the reason behind why there may be two people of the same age, but one of them might look older than the other. But of course, external factors also contributes to skin aging such as chronic stress, exposure to the sun, smoking, alcohol, poor sleeping habits, lack of exercise and having a bad diet.
Skin aging is inevitable. One cannot put a stop to this natural process because it's part of a human's life. The good thing is that we can at least slow down the appearance of the signs of aging. We can delay the appearance of wrinkles, sun spots, and saggy skin by having a healthy lifestyle. Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol because these habits tend to take out the moisture in our skin, making it look and feel dry. Having a regular exercise regimen could also help because exercise help keep our blood circulating. It is also important to keep our skin protected when going out especially if it is a sunny day because the sun's harmful UV rays could cause intense damage to the skin.
