Skoda the company from Czechoslovakia has announced that at next weeks Geneva motor show they will be unveiling a new concept car. They will also be showing the world their new design of their logo.

Skoda who started trading in 1895 making bicycles released the following statement: The car boasts a clearly defined shape and a great sense of detail and a new logo which will adorn new Skoda models from 2012. Any period of change for a motor company is a big thing, especially as the company is reformed as the Skoda brand.

They state that the winged arrow of the current well know logo is set to remain, but there are rumours that the colours are set to change. The rumour also states that the look of the logo will be even more distinct and precise than it has ever been. Now I don't know about you but that's a statement that I like to hear. Making a bold change in a depressed market is very forward thinking, especially as Skoda has moved up in the market so well in previous years.
