Coffee is one of the popular drinks but it is full of calories and the calorie count increases further if we are having biscuits with our coffee. So, it is a better idea to replace coffee with green tea.

Green tea is also known to absorb fats, it increases your energy levels and it freshens up your breath. It also decreases tooth decays.

Green teas will also give a boost to the antioxidants in our body, which will help in fighting against the cell damage caused by the toxins of our body. Antioxidants are known to slow down the ageing process, therefore adding to your life.

However, there is one side effect of drinking tea. Tea also contains little amount of caffeine. If you are drinking tea a lot, it will increase the caffeine intake, which is not good for the body. High amount of caffeine causes restlessness and insomnia. Green tea has another disadvantage, which is preventing the absorption of iron. Therefore, it will result in iron deficiency which is not good for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

But, the bottom line is that green tea is very good for weight loss and it has many benefits.
