Slow And Exasperating Tekken Game For The Wii U
Fighting games such as Tekken has always been a favorite among different gaming consoles for quite some time now
. If you would notice, most gaming consoles have their own Tekken versions available. That way, you won't be able to play it with just one type of gaming console. Of course, each version will be unique from the others and that is one factor that game enthusiasts are very interested with.
Having said that, Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada recently said during an interview that Nintendo's Wii U GamePad could be a bit different as expected. By now, everyone might be expecting all games for the new GamePad to be faster and better in terms of gaming quality.
Well, that expectation is somewhat not exactly what's going to happen. Playing fighting games such as Tekken on the new console with dual screen could be a bit annoying for players, Harada added.
It would be almost impossible to completely focus on a fighting game on one screen and use a secondary screen simultaneously. To address this concern, Namco Bandai could make a few adjustments to the fighting game before it is released.
To make it work for the new GamePad, they could use the smaller screen for shortcut functions. This method was proven to be helpful for fighting games for the 3DS.
This isn't the first time that the Japanese brand is coming up with a game console with dual screen function so it's not much of a problem. Another solution that they have for Tekken to work well on the new console is to have the game played on the handheld GamePad alone. That way, the player won't get sidetracked with having to look at two different screens during a Tekken game.
As of the moment, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for other consoles is set to be unveiled in September 14 this year. Harada said they are hoping that the Wii U version will be released as close to that date as possible. Performance-wise, the new Japanese GamePad will definitely be able to live up to your gaming expectations.
Also, you should know that the CPU in the latest gaming system from the Japanese brand is not the fastest one. Its processor clock speed is a bit slow as compared to competing brands such as Sony's PlayStation 3 and Microsoft's Xbox 360.
Katsuhiro Harada also said that they are going to do everything to make the weaknesses of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for the new system almost unnoticeable. Right now, there are so many other factors to consider in favor of the new GamePad. It will surely give you a whole new gaming experience that you've never had before. There is no reason for you to limit the use of the dual screen function for just fighting games.
It is just one of the many game categories that you could select from so make the most out of the others. It is also a good sign that Nintendo is actually looking at a long-term success for the new GamePad. For now, it would be better to watch out for the most up-to-date developments and official updates regarding the new gaming hardware.
