But before we start, let us explore what has led you here. More than likely, you have been a dedicated smoker for several years now. After you got over the curiosity of what it was like to smoke, the nicotine had you already in its vice like grip. Nicotine is now scientifically accepted as being one of the most addictive substances known to man. Don't feel bad about being addicted; it was not really your fault. You, like millions of others, fell victim to some very effective marketing by cigarette producers and their not so ethical practices of mixing chemicals into the tobacco which increased the possibility of addicting people who try smoking for the first time. Your body has now a dependency on nicotine. That's the bad news, But here is the Good News for you...By using smoking cessation you can now very simply reverse the process and become a healthier and happier person for doing it. The smoking cessation process is no secret and all it will cost you is the time it takes you to understand the process. Up to now you would most likely have thought that you loved to smoke and hence, you would hate to stop it, because you believe that a lot of the things you enjoy with a cigarette will no longer be enjoyable without the cigarette and you will miss the enjoyment. I know that it sounds too simple, but it's true and it works. I suggest you start by saying to your self, I do not need to smoke and I do not want to think about smoking. Get on with your day as normal. Avoid any of the situations where you would habitually smoke. Its not hard, once you have declined the first temptation to smoke you will realize that it can be done, at the end of the first day, clap yourself on the back and say, I have done it today and I can do it for ever. I must warn you that an overwhelming feeling of happiness and achievement will descend on you empowering you to carry on. I, like you wanted to stop smoking after years of damaging my health, when I learned the smoking cessation process and applied it in my own way, it liberated me from smoking and I know that my health today could have been in a much poorer state than it actually is, had I not stopped. I am grateful the same way you will be for having quit cigarettes. I will admit that I did get some extra help to assist me with the withdrawal symptoms in the form of a quit smoking aid. They helped me deal with the effects of the withdrawals symptoms and I only needed their help for a short time. You may not need any additional help; I would just like to make you aware that there is help there if you require it.
