So are you sick of it yet? The false claims, the make-money-from-doing-nothing statements
, and as long as you buy my program, youll be rich, making money online promises. I mean give me a break!
Anyone with an ounce of common sense NEEDS to be seeing right through these things, and my hope is that you are not following along with the masses.
Yes, Im talking about the home business industry here, and the sad thing is.it is a GREAT industry! Its just that millions of bozos have gone and messed it all up for the rest of us hardworking, sincere business owners.
There is only one fact, and one fact only, that I can tell anyone looking to start a home business, and it is simply this.it is a crapload of hard work!...and boy do I mean a crapload!
And do you know why there is so much hard work involved? Because it is a business.
Let me just propose some questions here, and you just answer to yourself. I think youll get the idea very quickly, but lets go through the steps anyways. I am going to throw out a business that you may or may not have heard of, and you tell yourself if it would be a ton of work to start-up, maintain, and continue to be successful. Are you ready? Here we go: McDonalds, Golds Gym, Edward Jones Financial Branch, Local Daycare, Airplane Rides For Tourists, Jet-Ski Rentals, Scuba Lessons, IT Consulting Company, Webpage Designer, etc, etc.
Have you heard of any of these? Any of your friends or family currently own or run any of these types of businesses? Even if they dont, what can you imagine it would take to get ANY of these up and off the ground? Yup, it was already stated above.
Then why does everyone in America think that a home business is any different? Its because of the power of the Internet Tim many say to me. Ok, I will agree that the Internet is an extremely powerful tool, but does by using this tool, it automatically mean that the hard work element is removed? HELL NO, it doesnt! On many levels, it means that you need to work even harder to learn how to use it and use it correctly.
Believe it or not, what many people dont get is the exact definition of what a business actually is. The word business means to serve. It doesnt mean to make money, to swindle people, to exchange goods, or sell peoples souls to the devil. Businesses are good ventures in our awesome world, and you better believe home businesses are also included.
The really cool thing about businesses, though, is that when you do put in the hard workeverything starts to explode (in a good way). A very wise mentor of mine told me this statement early on in my career, and I would like to share the simple phrase with you now. Success is predictable. And I would like to add a caveat to that of..and hardwork is the path to get you there.
