Just think as they don't know the peoples who are all sending a friend request from different part of the world to market their products they are simply accepting the request without analyzing anything about the person.
What will happen after accepting as friend? Nothing will happen that's the damn truth. For example take facebook as a example, add thousands of friends to the profile whom you really don't know before.. Just post a message in your wall it will reach all of them who are all is being friends for your profile, but do you think everyone will read the message and tell some comments about it?
