Actually the sofa means a kind of furniture which is half bended and one side raised. The flat side is used for sitting and the raised side is used for the support for back and neck. Sofa is almost like a bed. Some sofas are there the raised portion can be made flat equally with the flat portion of the sofa. So that it can be made a bed. One can sleep on the sofa comfortably after make it flat. Sofa is mainly used in the living room for sitting. Its purpose is sitting. Its facilities are many people can sit on the sofa comfortably and they can rest their waist as well as neck on the sofa in the sitting posture.
Mainly sofas have two or three seats for sitting. You will be moved by the heavenly touch of the sofas. They are very pleasant in look as well as very comfortable. Some sofas are chamber within them you can keep your necessary documents inside the chamber.
Sofas are called sectional because it contains different sections in it. Normally two to four sections are there. It contains at least two pieces that join each other at the angle of ninety degree. Sofas are used to cover the walls or other furniture of the room.
