It is basically every softball player's dream to be the greatest hitter of all. This is normally what everyone who is so fond of playing softball is wishing and hoping for. Almost everyone is really doing everything and exerting so much effort just to an excellent hitter because they know that is a great way for them to be on top.

When it comes to softball drills, the most common mistake that a hitter is doing is when he is choosing his bat. More often than not, many hitters don't know that it is very important that they must choose their bats carefully because bats greatly affect the way they hit. There are some who will just pick any bats that they can pick without thinking of the consequences that it will make. If you are one of these players who keeps on doing this then you must avoid it now because this is not good for you. You must keep in mind that in choosing a bat, there are some things that you need to take into consideration like the weight, the size, and the materials of the bat. If you will just take these things for granted then they will just serve as errors because you can never hit the ball perfectly if your bat does not suit you.
Another error that most players are doing when it comes to softball drills is when they keep on overdoing trainings and practices. There are some who are too serious when they are practicing to the point that they already forgot how to rest. Although taking practice and trainings seriously is a good thing, these things also have their limitations. A player must also know how to listen to his body. As a player, you must not take your health and your body for granted even if you are doing serious trainings for Softball drills Your body is your major weapon here and once it breaks down then reaching the top will never be possible. You must learn to manage your time and take some time off when you feel your body needs some rest. Resting can do well to the body because this will bring back all the energy that you have lost during the long days of practice and trainings.
