Another advanced helmet from HJC sportbike motorcycle helmets is the RPS-10 which was introduced following an intensive research and development period of three years and major investments in the company's testing and manufacturing facilities. During the development process, twenty separate designs were implemented and were tested in the company's specially built wind tunnel, for things like noise, stability, aerodynamics and vibration.

Featuring three variable air intakes at the front, with one being in front of the chin and the other two above the head, the RPS-10 is well ventilated. The top ones are quite unique, employing a rolling design allowing the intakes to be incrementally adjusted over six distinct positions. A hand wearing gloves can easily adjust any of the buttons. The intakes inside the helmet are complemented by the air that is directed via the Advanced Channeling System through ducts in the foam lining, over the head and out of the helmet at the back, which keeps the wearer's head quite cool.

With the shell of the RPS-10 being new, HJC has only permitted six engineers to access the molding apparatus that produces each one of three different shells covering the range of RPS-10 sizes. Being lighter than fiberglass, the new carbon fiber molding technique is an improvement on the older glass fiber process.

The liner inside the shell is manufactured from an anti-bacterial Gingkomin fabric designed to eliminate odors. The liner can be washed as and when required. The helmet features grooves in the design to accommodate riders who wear glasses so that they needn't be pushed back on the face.
