Many chefs feel the importance of cookware as compared to skill is overrated
. But, unlike a ball point's relation with handwriting, cooking and cookware are very well connected. With the ease of cookware now days, even children can cook. Magazines, cookery shows, advertisements and newspapers are filled with cooking recipes along with maintenance and cleaning tricks. Not many of the online articles provide light on cooking and handling tips related to cookware; hence some tips are discussed below.
As discussed earlier, the main principle for better cooking is heat distribution. Best cookware sets utilize the technique of equal distribution of heat. It is advised to look for cookware which comes with a heat diffusing base. Stainless steel cookware is a good example for such cookware.
Look for copper coating on the bottom side of cookware for better heat conductivity.
Don't use aluminum pots or pans for cooking tomato soups.
While preparing for cooking, usage of cutlery comes into the picture. Cut food items on a wooden board so that your knife doesn't get blunt.
For deep frying, use cast iron cookware instead of other metals for better results.
People who have problems with iron should not use cast iron cookware.

Don't use dishwashers for cleaning aluminum cookware as there may be some kind of a reaction which may damage such cookware.
Never use any shortcut methods while cooking, handling and cleaning cookware unless you are hundred percent sure of its success.
