You might have heard people talk about attracting abundance

, but do not know what it actually means. If you have a look in a dictionary, you will find the meaning for the word attracting as being able to pull toward or draw in. The word abundance means having more than adequate supply or quantity of something. The latter is what many people are after and this could be obtainable if you apply the law of attraction in your life.

This idea is not a new one - it has been around for decades. What you need to do however, is to understand how it works and how you could manifest it in your life. What the gurus say is you must not think about what you do not have, because you will attract that on which you concentrate your energies. Therefore, if you think about the scarcity you have in life, you are going to attract more scarcity.

This is the secret they say, think about abundance and you will attract more into your life. The moment you concentrate on how little you have, the more you are going to get just that - little. Take your wallet for instance, open it up, do you have a little in it or do you have enough? Compared to someone who does not even have a wallet, let alone one dollar, you would then have abundance. You should start by recognizing abundance everywhere you look and everywhere you go and in everything you do. By doing that, you start the flow of opportunities, creativity and true desires to manifest in and around you immediately. You hold the key to your own level of abundance.

You are not going to find a quick fix overnight solution. Just as you have been conditioned to live a life of scarcity, you need to re-condition your mind to live your life in abundance.

It takes perseverance and it will not happen overnight. You need to condition your mind to think in such a way so that your thoughts rest on the abundance and not scarcity side of your life. You can achieve this is by setting aside some time in the day where you can calm down and clear your head. Put on a new record, play a different tune in your head, one that lifts you up.

By changing your mindset, you are going to notice the abundance around you. To appreciate life's little things is your first step to greater things. Look outside and focus on a tree. Become aware of its multitude of leaves. This tree lives in abundance. Look at a garden, see the blades of grass, and let your eyes fall on the flowers. Inspect a flower closely and see how abundant it is with its beautiful color, its incredible scent and its magnificent petals. Look around you and everywhere you are going to see abundance in your universe. If you can master that, you will start the flow of abundance and get the law of attraction working for you.

Invest in a good journal and write about your daily experiences with abundance. Eat, sleep and drink it and it will become part of your life. The other secret of course is that you need to share your abundance with someone else. That is how the law of attraction works.
