Sciatica is a disease associated with pain, weakness

In a controlled study, people find that surgical intervention offers better results after one year. After the following four and ten year, people found no significant differences.

A lot of cases show that spinal manipulation is a good option for the treatment of acute sciatica. However, people found less evidence to support spinal manipulation for the treatment of chronic sciatica. Spinal manipulation is also a safe method for the treatment of disc-related pain.
