Some Of The Greatest Acting Performances From The Seasoned Veteran Harrison Ford

How many major action stars are there over the age of sixty

? I don't know the correct answer to that, but there cannot be too many. One of those actors, however is without a shadow of a doubt, Harrison Ford. I would not consider Harrison Ford to be a "true" action star, in the vein of Sylvester Stallone or Steven Segal, but he has had his chair of adrenaline pumping movies. That is not to say he is limited to these roles, however.

The following movies are my personal top five favorite films starring Harrison Ford.

Clear and Present Danger is one movie that definitely is on the list for me. I only wish they would come out with another Jack Ryan film, rather than another Indiana Jones. Patriot Games is also a great movie from the Jack Ryan franchise.

It is impossible to make a list of Harrison Ford movies without giving praise to a Star Wars movie. My favorite Star Wars film is definitely Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. No one could have played Han Solo better than Mr. Ford.

Another franchise that it is nearly impossible to leave out on this list is Indiana Jones. Indiana Jones truly set the precedent for many of the action and adventure movies that are released today. Raiders Of The Lost Ark is my personal favorite.

I would be remiss to not include What Lies Beneath on my list of Harrison Ford's best films. I like to categorize this movie as a suspenseful, psychological thriller/horror. It keeps you guessing. I don't recommend watching this movie alone.

One other movie that I would definitely include on this list is The Fugitive. This movie is just so good, I don't know what else to say. I may be wrong, but I believe Tommy Lee Jones won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for this film.

Hopefully there are one or more films from Harrison Ford on this list which you have not yet seen, but will now consider.
