The Okidata c9300 printer is a laser type of printer that's capable of producing color and monochrome printouts

. There are included C9300 replacement toners and software that allow for accurate color reproduction and monitoring of printing activities. What's more, room for expansion makes sure that your productivity needs are promptly met. Multiple interfaces allow for simple connection to a computer or even a network, with an optional internal print server card.

Inside it is a fast PowerPC 450MHz processor. This allows the machine to produce 37 monochrome pages per minute or that's equivalent to 30 color pages per minute. It's also fast enough to yield the first page out in just a matter of 10 to 11.5 seconds, depending on the document. A maximum resolution of 1200 x 600 dots per inch is used for crisp text and clear images each and every time.

The machine already comes with a 128 MB memory when purchased. But there are available DIMM slots which leave room for memory sizes ranging from 64, 128, 256 to 512 MB. You may have the memory expanded to as large as 1GB. This is beneficial for storing everyday printing tasks or documents with massive files. There's no need to slow down the printer's performance when dealing with complex tasks.

There's a total of 650-sheet input media capacity thanks to the media feeders available. There's a 550-sheet capacity universal tray and a 100-sheet capacity multipurpose tray. But you can increase the handling capacity to as much as 2850 media sheets by installing additional trays (sold separately). An optional duplex unit may also be installed, for double-sided printing minus the unnecessary user interaction.

An assortment of media kinds and dimensions can be handled by the c9300. Compatible types are ordinary paper, card stocks, transparencies, labels, envelopes and others designed for laser printer applications. Compatible dimensions are just as extensive, including standard, folio, letter, legal, executive, tabloid extra, banner and custom. Up to a max of 12.9" x 47.2" media size can be handled by the machine.

Hooking it up to a computer is simple as there are a couple of interfaces around. They are bi-directional IEEE-1284 and USB ports. For network use, simply purchase and install an OkiLAN 10/100 Base-T 6200e internal print server card. This printer is compatible to work with various operating systems. The Okidata compatible toner and toner drum are separate units so they can be individually replaced, thus allowing you to keep operation costs down.

Improve the way you use the machine with certain utilities that it comes with. Making sure that the colors on the hardcopy match those on the computer screen is the MonacoEZmatch software. Allowing you to monitor consumable usage is the Job Accounting software. This lets you supervise certain printer activities like paper usage, ink consumption, and others.
