Some Tips to Make a Classroom Memory Book

Classroom memory book will be a great idea for the students when they are graduated

. This book can bring them back to the years when they were in school. Creating memory book with them will be fun. Allow them make it themselves so that it will be more impressive. They can decorate the memory book according to their preference.

For this project, you will need some tools such as construction paper, stickers, cardstock, scissors, fine point marker, glue stick, yarn or ribbon, and three-hole puncher. Along with those tools, you have to collect all the school work, photographs, art project, and any other information and decoration which you will use to fill and assemble the book later. It can also function as the reflection about what they were doing and learned during the year.

As the first step, you can collect the student's photographs at the first school week. You can take the individual picture and the group pictures. Save those pictures in file folders. Don't forget to label each picture with the name of the students. Instead of storing photographs, you can also collect the art and class work until all those materials are ready for the book.

You can assemble page per page each month. You can use the pictures of your students which you take while they are playing, reading, or when they are doing any other activities. You can the variety of the pictures by using candid shots. In addition, you can use birthday as the focal page of the book. The event and the date should also be included in the page of the memory book.

For the border of the page, you can use the construction paper and photos which have been cut in such a way. Instead, you can use any other ideas to decorate the border of the page. For better and impressive result, you can match the colors of the border with the color of the photograph.

After you have made all the pages for the memory book, the last thing you have to do is to bind them into a book. You can simply use three holes punch for the page and use the ribbon or yarn to tie them. Instead, you can bind them for more professional look.
