Something Different With Flowlights

In my day, we had glowsticks, usually in green

, pink, red, orange and blue, that was about it. I mean they had rings and necklaces and that stuff, but it was all pretty much the same color and the same design. But, these days, you lucky kids have something called Flowlights or Flowtoys Flowlights. I have seen a few videos of people using these and they look pretty damn cool - AND they come in more colors than just your garden variety green, pink, red, orange and blue which is always nice as well.

These Fire Flowlights have orange, red and yellow LEDs. I highly recommend combining Flowlights and the Floytoys Crystal when using them for poi. Although these are very strong, when your spinning poi collides with something (the ground, a person, the other poi ball) it excerpts hundreds of pounds of force. The crystal helps protect your FlowLight! There are always leash and cord options for your flowtoys flowlights. Flowleash System - The flowleash was specifically designed to use Flowlights as poi.

It uses a nice ColeCord that feels nice in wraps. The poi attached to the end of this using a loop-through method. Nyon Cord with Swivels and Quicklinks - This upgrades the attaching hardware with swivels and quicklinks. People like the thinner nylon because it is lighter and thinner - but wraps can be painful! Its also nowhere near as strong as ColeCord. Colecord with Quicklinks and Swivels - The ultimate leash setup.

Using both high quality ColeCord and hardware you aren't going to find a better adjustable leash. Some of the options you are given are: Fire FlowLight LED Stick (single), Water FlowLight LED Stick (single), Earth FlowLight LED Stick (single) and Nebula FlowLight LED Stick (single). Each of these is a different color - think of it as fire (reds, oranges, yellows), water (blues and light blues), earth (greens, browns) nebula (space; whites, blues, purples, etc).

I actually really like these even though I have not owned one or touched one yet, but honestly I think anything is going to be better than the same old boring colors that I grew up with. If you want to try something different, then flowlights and flowtoys flowlights are going to be a great option.
