Comics are accepted in different fashions in different culture for example in US or UK comics are majorly read by children while in Japan comics are read by both younger generation and adults.
In Japanese culture comics maintain a very high place than in US culture. In japanese language comics and cartoons are known as Manga.Sometime people misinterpret anime as Manga. The only difference between both of them is Anime are animated cartoon characters that are shown on TV or movie on the other hand manga are shown in form of comics.
