Sony Announces Two New Bravia Tvs And Mdr-1 Headphones At Ifa 2012
Sony is not leaving any stone unturned for making a powerful statement at the IFA 2012
. It showcased its 2 new Bravia TVs, which are 84-inch Bravia KD-84X9005 4K TV and Bravia KDL-HX955 LCD TV. Moreover, Sony also launched the new series of MDR-1 headphones. While being lust-worthy for its nearly 4 times sharper than the full-HD definition (3840 x 2160), Sony tries to combat the age-old flatscreen audio issue by offering 2 side-mounted speakers for the set. These house ten speakers together create a virtual 5.1 surround sound field. All those people, who do not bother to spend a huge amount of money and have the space to house 84-inch Bravia KD-84X9005 4K TV, will definitely like to go for this high-end surround sound set-up.
The 84-inch size has practical applications apart from simple bragging rights. The size matters if the human eye wants to appreciate 4K resolutions at a convenient viewing distance. The 4K is set to be the successor to HDTV, after the lacklustre response to 3DTV. The PlayMemories Studio, which is a special PlayStation 3 software, allows users to organize and playback high resolution images with ease and comfort on the 4K TV.
The HX955 Series is the second Bravia TV announced by Sony that offers viewers entertainment with the best quality. The TV comes in 55 and 65 inch screen sizes. The HX955 offers an immersive viewing experience, which is clear and bright. You will get a realistic picture quality. The direct LED backlight lowers and raises the brightness of the image, where it is required for best contrast. The HX955 Series saves energy and ensures a higher contrast as compared to a traditional edge-lit LED panel. HX955 gives life to video images. Its innovative image processor, which is X-Reality PRO, enables viewers a lifelike viewing experience. HX955 gives the viewer an exciting experience, irrespective of the fact, whether it is big sporting events or a 3D movie. This TV has direct access to Sony Entertainment Network with the built-in Wi-Fi.
Sony also showcased its MDR-1 range of headphones. These headphones are a result of Sony's partnership with Sony Music Entertainment. These headphones have a closed-back design for better bass response and greater isolation. The MDR-1 range will be available in 3 options, which are standard, Bluetooth wireless versions and digital noise cancelling. These headphones are specially designed for people, who want to enjoy music for long hours. These headphones offer 22 hours of battery stamina between charges.
