I have always admired Japanese manufacturers, especially the ones who deal with consumer electronics

The stated reason for this venture is to combine Sony's consumer electronics expertise with Ericsson's technological leadership in the communications sector. Both companies have stopped making their own mobile phones.

The Sony Ericsson Spiro phone has the following features: 2MP, GPRS, EDGE, USB, Bluetooth, FM radio, MP3 Player. This 90g phone has a lithium Ion battery. It has added features like 2.2" TFT color display. The handset is equipped with 2.0MP Camera. The handset comes with connectivity options like GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, and USB. The phone has 5MB internal Memory and an upgradeable memory using a microSD card upto 16GB. This phone comes with additional features like MP3 Player, FM Radio, Email, and Communities like Face book & Twitter.
