Sony Ericsson Vivaz Black Goes Prepay - Black Vivaz On Pay As You Go

The latest Sony Ericsson Vivaz has now been made available in its Black coloured

housing as a Pay As You Go phone, the Vivaz is one of a few mobile phones capable of recording video in HD quality and also features Sony Ericsson's new 'human curvature' design to its outer casing.

Originally released back in February of this year, the Sony Ericsson Vivaz Black edition was initially made available on both the Vodafone and Orange networks followed by launches on T-Mobile, O2 and Three Mobile as well as most recently being released as a SIM Free and unlocked device.

The Black edition Vivaz joins two other colour variants in the Sony Ericsson Vivaz range including the original Moon Silver and newest Ruby Red colour schemes with a further Galaxy Blue model still awaiting release.

Features of this latest imaging handset include a 3.2 inch touch screen display and an 8.0 mega pixel camera which is capable of capturing 720p HD quality video clips which can be instantly uploaded to sites like Youtube to share with friends and the world.

There is also a comprehensive multimedia player and a 3.5mm jack plug allowing the user to listen to videos and music with their own standard pair of headphones. Other features include GPS, WiFi, HSDPA for quick internet downloads and access to a good range of new applications to further personalise the phone.

As mentioned previously, the Vivaz is one of a few mobile phones supporting HD quality video capture, others include the new HTC Desire and the latest Samsung Wave both of which offer an AMOLED touch screen display for even better on-screen viewing.

Alongside this latest device the manufacturer has also released the new Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 which expands the screen size up to a massive 4 inches and is the first Android phone the company have produced. The Vivaz is widely regarded as an upgrade to the previous Sony Ericsson Satio phone which although did offer a higher resolution camera at 12.1 mega pixels did not capture HD video and was prone to software problems on its release.

The Vivaz also faces competition from the new Nokia X6 as well as the Samsung Tocco Ultra, LG BL40 and from within the manufacturers own ranks the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini and Mini Pro editions which are due for release shortly.

The Black Sony Ericsson Vivaz only has one network left to be launched on and that is Virgin Mobile although at this time there is no confirmed date from the operator.
