Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 And Sony Ericsson Cedar Launched In India

Sony Ericsson is all set to make its big launch in the name of XPERIA X8 and the one and only Green Heart Cedar

. Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 will be accompanied with the Android v1.6 Donut and with the upgradings of 2.1v Eclair.

Yet no official announcements have been made regarding the date of release of the updated version. But the time is not too far and soon Sony Ericsson will roll out its upgraded models.

If we talk about the Sony Ericsson Cedar, it is almost similar to the XPERIA X8 except that it lacks the Wi-Fi connectivity, high resistance camera and the GPS facility.

The prices of these hand sets are guessed but no official disclosures are are made yet. The price for Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 is Rs.13200/- and Sony Ericsson Cedar is priced at Rs.5600/-.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 supports both 2G and 3G network and measures 99 x 54 x 15 mm in size. The TFT capacitive touchscreen with16M colors makes it a perfect hand set to give the best display. The display is absolute scratch free and comes with accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate. The 3.5 mm audio jack makes it perfect for the music lovers.

The stunning white colour makes it too attractive and stylish. It is also available in other colors like White, Dark Blue/ White, Aqua Blue/ White, Pink/ White, Silver/ White.

Talking about the memory of hand set, it comes with 128 MB storage, 168 MB RAM. Its other features include Digital compass, MP4/H.263/H.264/WMV player, MP3/eAAC+/WMA/WAV player, TrackID music recognition, Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk and Facebook app.

Standard battery of Li-Po, 1200 mAh is embedded in the hand set which makes it capable of delivering long talk time to the users.
