In fact, should you run into her, act as if you not only accept her decision to break up, but that you agree that it's for the best. This will surely throw her off and have her thinking immediately there is a change in you. Though I don't advocate employing games to win your ex girlfriend back, I do however say that if you are to run into her, be pleasant, complimentary, without going overboard and if she remarks on the relationship, change the topic. It's okay to let her know that this is a topic that you'd rather not discuss and that you simply respect her wishes to separate. I suggest that you get a hobby and reconnect with your old buddies. I further suggest you ask your buddies to help point out behaviors that may have been less than attractive that could have caused the break-up.
