. Yes, the show that focuses on the lesbian relationship between Ashley Davies (Mandy Musgrave) and Spencer Carlin (Gabrielle Christian) and made its debut on November 4th, 2005.

The show touches on the sensitive matter, one that depicts something that was forbidden at the time when the show was launched. Even today, this topic is not considered to be something positive, especially when two people of the same sex indulge in a relation. When the South of Nowhere episodes were scheduled to be aired, it landed up in controversy for the reason of showing bisexual relations.

Talking about lesbianism, it is nothing but a romantic feeling that arises between females, or in other words, it can be described as a female same sex desire'. There can be many attempts from the TV industries all over the world, where they can come forward to remove the barriers of these types. But these attempts are often stopped by controversies and protests.

Now, it's not the only thing that was depicted in the show, but it's also a teen drama, where the life of a teen has been portrayed, with links to the relation. The teen age is very sensitive, where people are bound to get experimental about everything, including their sexuality. While some are forced into, there are those who get into by choice.

One should go for the South of Nowhere episodes to change their blinkered perception towards lesbianism. Being homosexual is not a crime they deserve their space under the sky as well!
