Welcome to our newest product review. Today we are looking at the Sovos SVPDTV7 the 7 inch portable TV. Now many people will wonder why we are reviewing a small TV and not focusing on the huge, slim line, brand new models. Well we've focused on this is because its practical, full of technology and coming down in price.

As the world becomes more indulged in technology we feel the use of the smaller TV will become more widespread. This is due to them being very convenient for trips, holidays and any sort of journey. Also as the technology increases and the price falls they will become more desirable.

So the Sovos SVPDTV7 is a stylish 7 inch model with Freeview. The model picks up a huge range of up to 45 channels including all of the main stream channels (BBC, ITV and Channel 4).The first thing that grabbed us with this is that it has a high resolution screen, this means that the picture is delivered with unbelievable quality.

A really quality addition to the small TV market is that you can actually access a 7 day TV guide. Now this is normal on your home TV but not on such a small unit, this is a huge advancement in the world of pocket models. Then comes the real great bit of tech, you can actually record from this unit, the programmes you want to record are saved onto USB drive so you can easily access and watch them when it is convenient.

The next amazing thing is that the price of this model has reduced since its introduction. Early models were much more expensive than the current price of 129. You can also find this still available at upwards of 150 which makes the price even better.

The battery would normally be a huge problem to power something like this. If you think it is carrying a high definition screen, freeview player, USB drive etc and it still produces 2 hours of viewing time on one battery charge.

If your wondering what happens when the TV it out of reach of the digital signal well don't worry, the TV picks up all analogue signals as well. Obviously you would not be able to view the extra channels but you can still watch the mainstream programmes. It also picks up all channels from the European region so if you're off to France the Sovos SVPDTV7 will still produce an excellent picture.
