I have always wondered why there are so many languages in the world. Couldn't there be just one and everyone would communicate without any problems? Well, I guess it would have been to easy and life never is. Besides, there is too much history, nations and diversity for only one language. But if I start to learn a language, it has to be useful and I need to like it. As I had already known English, I decided to search for some scientific data and I discovered that Spanish is one of the most spoken languages in the world.

Apart from that, it is a really nice and melodic language. It seems as if the Spaniards were always singing. It is a joke, of course, but I really like the sound of Spanish. Besides, in Spanish I could communicate in Spain, no doubt, in Central and South America. Isn't that fantastic? One language and you can talk to so many people. And who doesn't want to visit South America... a really interesting and fascinating continent, or Mexico? Sounds so exotic. I think that travelling and visiting new places is what the majority of us like. And believe me, speaking Spanish is what you need to know when going to South or Central America. It will be a lot easier to ask for the road or help during your trip. I guess we all know that communicating in local language gives best results. I think you will all agree with me when you visit Spain or travel around South America and try really hard to find someone speaking your language or at least English without good effects.

I have another useful data for you. Spanish is the official language in some states of the United States. Surprised? I guess not that much. So now you know, Spanish language is welcome everywhere. Not mentioning, if you plan to work abroad. English, of course, is very useful, but an extra language always helps and I cannot imagine a better choice than Spanish.
