Specializing In 3d Modeling: My Zeal To Learn
A digital world without colors, lines, shapes
, and designs is synonymous to a life filled with gloom and insensibility. For a digital product to be considered a work of art, it is vital that all these elements are combined and are well-represented using whatever tools or means are applicable.
3D art, in its greatest sense, is a distinct factor that adds pleasure to the digital world and plays an imperative role in arousing the outlook, creativity and lifestyle of a thing or a person. As this is the case, it is very important that digital artists make the objects or characters appear realistic by implementing texture, shadow, color, lightning and transparency, as well as, give illusion of motion by sculpting it into its finest.
Obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Multimedia Arts and Science at CIIT, I have decided to concentrate on 3D modeling as my specific field of expertise. Same with any other professional careers, the competition in multimedia arts is highly aggressive. However, by deciding to pursue a specialization, I can master specific competitive skills and use them to gain an edge over others in various fields such as advertising, game development, television, film, engineering, or architecture.
In pursuing 3D modeling at CIIT, I was able to explore and learn more about the different ways on how to turn simple works into something extraordinary. My designs and sketches were easily transformed into fully devised drawings and advanced three-dimensional graphics. I was able to interpret my designs correctly and accurately and was also able to effectively visualize my bizarre concepts and ideas into reality.
In todays technologically advanced society, three-dimensional art holds the responsibility of making the digital world fun, exciting, and useful to any form of entertainment ventures and businesses. I firmly believe that obtaining and holding specialization in
3D modeling could execute my passion in designing and would also allow me to collaborate with other professionals who have made significant contributions to the society.
Three-dimensional objects, characters, or backgrounds are created with the use of the latest and specialized software and state-of-the-art devices. With the fast advancement of technology and software programs, they become more sophisticated and detailed, thus making it more real and authentic.
At CIIT, lessons in three-dimensional modeling are divided into 8 sessions (equivalent to 40 hours) and are focused on comprehensive programs that make use of Auto Desk 3D Studio Max and 3D Maya 2010 software. Students are also taught by the best artists and special effects experts in the country, thus enabling them to gain knowledge about the industry in a fun and creative way. Furthermore, when it comes to the gaming industry, CIIT is in partnership with the best and renowned third party game developer in the country, Anino Games.
With great confidence, I can say that CIIT is a training ground for future graphic experts and professionals. Having educated and prepared by the best ICT school in the country, I am equipped to pursue a successful career and create ways to further strengthen and expand my opportunities in the industry.
