Spend Your Vacation Golfing At Falcon Ridge Golf Course

What can you do on your trip to Mesquite, Nevada

? The grownups can spend each day golfing at Falcon Ridge golf course, or one of the other 4 world class courses, while the younger family members can visit the club house or take a swim at the hotel pool. If the younger members aren't enthusiastic about swimming, then perhaps they'd like a few games of bowling at the Virgin River Bowling center.

Perhaps they would like to take a tour of the Lost City Museum or browse the Mesquite Fine Arts Center and Gallery. Not far from Lake Mead, the Lost City Museum is opened Thursday through Sunday, and has a variety of artifacts which were excavated from the American Indian tribe of the Anasazi. There is also art exhibitions at the museum occasionally. There are six different museums that you can visit in Nevada. There's just no end to the things a family can do in Mesquite. There're able to check out all the history of the area.

While Dad has gone out golfing at the Falcon Ridge course, the wife and kids can visit the Mesquite Fine Arts and Gallery. You can actually take art classes there and learn how to paint as well as take a pottery class. If you'd like to find out just how the professionals do their projects, you can check out the art gallery and see how the masters did it.

There's also a museum called the Virgin Valley Museum. Only at that museum you will be able to see what the first slot machine that was brought to the Nevada valley looked like. You'll see what the first whiskey still in the area looked like, what the early style televisions looked like as well as the first radios. Tours are available to guide you throughout the museum.

The family could also do a little bit of souvenir shopping. There are lots of shops that they can take a look at near the hotels as well as in the museums. There is always something fun to look at and something unique to buy in the various souvenir stores. There are also some interesting souvenirs in the Falcon Ridge golf course club house.

Did you know that there are 9 National Parks in just a day's drive in Mesquite, Nevada? You can go watch sky divers dive through the air, go bumper car riding, have fun bowling, and go to the arcade. There's simply lots of things to do around Mesquite.

If you're able to pry Dad from the Falcon Ridge golf course, you can actually take sky diving lessons as a family. You could visit the Valley of Fire state park, and you'll need to allow hours of recreation and adventure on this trip. If you choose to visit one or more of the state parks in Nevada, make sure you bring your camera along with you.

With 6 great golf courses to choose from, any golfer would dream of living in Mesquite. Your family would love it also. With all of the State and National Parks to see along with all of the other activities that are offered, it would take a lifetime to experience it all.
