Spice Mobile Phone recently launched a new handset which offers both GSM and CDMA

based mobile connections active simultaneously with option for two SIM cards in same mobile phone handset - Spice Mobiles.

A dual network phone with GSM and CDMA, Spice D-88 supports both GSM and CDMA active connections at the same time. Spice D-88 allows two mobile numbers in the same phone offering users to make and receive calls and messages from either SIM card and even allows to switch between the two any time the used wants.

The Spice D-88 dual network Mobile Phone has a 2-inch (128160 pixels) colors TFT display capable of displaying 256K colors and features a T-Flash expandable memory slot which supports upto 1-GB memory. The handset comes with 256 MB memory card and is GPRS class 10 connection capable from spicetel.

Weighing a mere 93 grams, the Spice D-88 Mobile Phone also sports a 1.3 Megapixels camera with 1280 x 1024 pixels resolution and 10x digital zoom. The digital camera is also capable of Video recording and playback in 3GP video format. Capable of storing close to 1000 phone numbers and can store upto 600 SMS memory. The Spice D-88 mobile phone is powered by Li-ion 800mAh Standard Battery offering upto 3 hrs talk time with GSM Mode or around 2.5 hrs with CDMA network and offers nice standby time of upto 120 hrs in Dual Mode, or upto 180 hrs in CDMA mode or upto 200 hrs in GSM mode.

Spice has also launched a budget priced Spice C-5300 CDMA Mobiles which is a candybar style handset which features a 1.8-inch 65K color display, MP3 player, FM radio tuner and VGA resolution camera with video recording feature.

The Spice Mobile Phones is CDMA 2000 800 MHz network ready and it features 1.8-inch 128 x 160 pixels resolution 65K colors TFT CSTN display and it supports 32 Polyphonic Ring Tones, support for MP3, WMA, WAV file formats.
