Spiritual Growth With The Tarot - 3, THE EMPRESS

By TarotMeister, CTM

THE EMPRESS sits upon a well-cushioned throne in the midst of a plentiful garden. Her lily-white robe is adorned with a print of crimson roses. In her right hand she carries a goldenwand, topped off with a gilded ball. There are dark-green trees behind her and a field of golden ripe wheat before her.A fluffy pillow behind her is dressed with Symbolized representations of Venus, as is what looks to be a stone heart alongside her.

On her head, she dons a gilded crown, ornamented with twelve six-pointed stars. She's the Symbolization of a significant stage in what we create. While it's not distinctly depicted, Tarot mythology states that she is pregnant, a symbol, of course, of creativity. She is the Earth Mother, the womb through which everything is created.

While The Magician is attention, and The High Priestess is subconsciousness and remembering, THE EMPRESS represents generative Imagination. This is an outstanding instrument in programming our subconscious to create that which we desire.

The word "desire" is really a contraction of two words, "de" (from) and "sire" (father). And so, the word "desire" translates as "from The Father." Put differently, because each of us is an individualized manifestation of The Father, The Source, Universal Mind, (or whatever term you prefer to call The Divinity), we possess the inherent right to satisfy our "desires", since The Father is within us, IS us!

Now, back to creative imagination... The last time I discussed the subconscious mind remembering everything we say to it and trying its best to institute those conditions into materialization. In this article, we will speak about the absolute best means to implant these thoughts into our subconsciousness, visualization, a different word for the imagination. Subconsciousness responds very powerfully to that which it "sees". An intriguing thing, here, is that it cannot differentiate between what is "viewed" by the eyes and what is "viewed" inside the mind, the imagination.

When we imagine something, the subconscious mind sees it as an existent reality and goes to work producing it for us. Therefore... It is simple to realize that it is an extraordinarily good idea not to spend a lot of time on envisioning everything that could go wrong, because--THEY WILL! So, how can we utilize this powerful instrument to employ the generative forces within us to our advantage? We visualize what we desire in a disciplined fashion.

Whenyou wish tobring something into your world, develop a well-defined mental picture of what you desire. What will it "feel" like to hold it, or utilize it? "Envision" yourself as possessing this thing or situation. Make sure to see yourself in the mental picture. Otherwise subconsciousness may create this situation or thing almost anyplace. You desire it for yourself, so "visualize" yourself as possessing it--Now! Now, it is very crucial to establish this visualization as "genuine" in your mind. Don't say, "This will be mine," say, "this IS mine, NOW."

And, really significant, don't allow any doubts to enter your mind. If they do, delete them as promptly as you become mindful of them.

We are each an integral component of Universal Intelligence, and this Intelligence (God) wishes us to be happy. This imparts happiness to Itself. What we have to do is let It recognize what we desire (not what we DON'T want) and It will create it for us.

When you meditate on THE EMPRESS, let it remind you that you are a significant part of the God-Presence and, as long as you make it crystal clear what you want, It will create it in your reality.
