Spiritual Growth with The Tarot - 0, THE FOOL

THE FOOL stands on a precipice and appears to be about to step off into the void. He seems completely untroubled, along with the little white dog dancing gaily alongside him. There is absolutely nothing about their activities which, in any manner, would cause us to believe that they are in trouble - or soon going to be. He carries everything he might need on his journey across his shoulder. Everything is just fine...

The Fool represents the part of you and me which is everlasting, the "God-Self," that which we in reality are from life experience to life experience, and will be until we decide we have assimilated that which we descended to this plane to learn and go home to the God-Self forever.

Before descending to the Earth plane, to study whatever we need to learn in this life experience, we are located in a plane where We recognize that nothing in the upcoming experience could ever really harm us. We assume this material structure and live in this corporal reality just to learn and mature in Soul. There is Nothing in this material world which could ever damage the soul who we really are. The experiences may seem to hurt, they must if we need to learn from them, but it only appears that way. When this life-experience is concluded, we revert home to the Light Source, to the plane where we recognize who and what we really are.

It is quite like going to a movie. To get the most entertainment out of it, we have to suspend our unbelief and get into the experience as if it was real. Only, in reality, it is an illusion; a piece of us always realizes we will walk away from it unharmed. And, a part of us knows that in our existing life-experience, too. Our Soul growth is greatly enhanced when we remember that we'll be unscathed, irrespective of that which our bodily sensory facultys are telling us at any particular time. The Fool recognizes this! We are not material organisms who possess a soul, we are spiritual beings who are assuming a material body structure for awhile, to learn that which we need to learn.

As we contemplate The Fool we need to realize why he is so detached. We need to understand he KNOWS that NOTHING in the life-experience before him can harm him, and will help us to remember who and what we truly are. In your meditation, see yourself as The Fool, remaining firm always at the doorway to fresh new experiences and forever aware that we are safe.

The Master Jesus stated, "the kingdom of God is within you." We are all, on the soul-level, an individualized expression of God, or the Universe, or Infinite Intelligence, or Universal Mind, or whatever name you prefer to use for the Divinity. That's the lesson we are most required to discover. It's the foundation of all Soul maturation. Once we fully realize (make real in our lives) this "Unity," we will not require this physical domain anymore.

The religious mystics of literally all religions have taught that we CAN achieve this. The Fool can help you remember it. He can assist you in remembering, the "problems" in this life-experience are precisely like the "problems" we had in math class back in our schooling years. They were for calculating to facilitate our learning. We walked away from our mathmatics class unscathed, and, like the Fool, we will exit out of this Earth School the same way.
