Spiritual Warfare Book for Truth, Victory and Power
Spiritual Warfare Book: Truth Cries Out Against Satan Bobbye Brooks How do we learn
to fight the invisible battles if we cannot see our attacker? The first strategy we should employ is to learn more about our attacker and examine his motives. If Spiritual Warfare involves battles that we can always physically see or understand, then we should learn as much as we can about the evidence that we can see that might indicate what is in the places we cannot see. In other words, lets shine a fluorescent black light and see what happens. Maybe some of the things below give us some insights into our adversary of darkness. Maybe these are some of things that he has been thinking or doing all along. If I were the devil I would gain control of the most powerful nation in the world; I would delude their minds into thinking that they had come from man's effort, instead of God's blessings; I would promote an attitude of loving things and using people, instead of the other way around; I would dupe entire states into relying on gambling for their state revenue; I would convince people that character is not an issue when it comes to leadership; I would make it legal to take the life of unborn babies; I would make it socially acceptable to take one's own life, and invent machines to make it convenient; I would cheapen human life as much as possible so that life of animals are valued more than human beings; I would take God out of the schools, where even the mention of His name was grounds for a lawsuit; I would come up with drugs that sedate the mind and target the young, and I wouldget sports heroes to advertise them; I would get control of the media, so that every night I could pollute the minds of every family member for my agenda; I would attack then family, the backbone of any nation. I would make divorce acceptable and easy, even fashionable. If the family crumbles, so does the nation; I would compel people to express their most depraved fantasies on canvas and movies screens, and I would call it art; I would convince the world that people are born homosexuals, and that their lifestyles should be accepted and marveled; I would convince the people that right and wrong are determined by a few who call themselves authorities and refer to their agendas as politically correct; I would persuade people that the church is irrelevant and out of date, the Bible is for the naive: I would dull the minds of Christians, and make them believe that prayer is not important, and that faithfulness and obedience are optional: I GUESS I WOULD LEAVE THINGS PRETTY MUCH THE WAY THEY ARE! Paul Harvey has been given the credit for the thoughts expressed above. Regardless of who actually wrote, spoke and quoted this, it is difficult to deny its truth. The strategies of Satan should not be difficult to discern. His ways are destructive, dark and bring death into any given situation. His strategies are all aimed at trying to kill, steal, and destroy us. He kills our dreams, steals our joys and destroys our hope. Satan, basically, hates us because He hates God. His hatred is manifested through his schemes to destroy Gods people. Satan will use every tactic possible to get our focus off of the Lord and to not trust the Lord. Satan loves for us to focus on ourselves. One of Satans greatest tools is deception. When we least expect it, we can be lulled into a trap set by the enemy. We must become more aware of Satans schemes and take the steps to fight back. The Bible is clear in its description of Satan from Genesis to Revelation and we have no excuse for our ignorance of his strategies. Satan cannot force us to sin. He cannot control the behaviors of a believer but he can place thoughts into our minds and lead us into temptation as a powerful strategy to lure us into sin. The enemy uses temptation as a strategic tool to entice to do wrong by promise of pleasure or gain (Merriam-Webster). Our flesh loves pleasure. Our flesh loves to feel good and feed its desires. No one knows that better than Satan, which keeps him actively seeking ways to tempt us. God loves us to experience pleasure also as He is the creator of all things. However, God ways do not bring destruction but life. God loves leading us down paths of life, light, liberty, all based on His love. It is important to discern the difference. It is important to allow the truth of Gods ways to shine every greater in our hearts and minds to resist the schemes of the devil and be aware of His strategies. The Spiritual Warfare Book (eWorkbook) called Truth Cries Out focuses on the most prevalent strategies that Satan uses against us. From the beginning of time, we have been dealing with certain human characteristics, ones that he understands better than we do. He watches us, observes our behavior and then cunningly wields his schemes to get us to fall into sin. The study helps us to examine the key areas of temptation, pride and lust, as they are the focus of Satans major tactics and schemes against us. It also addresses Satans tactic of fear. We will learn of what the Bible teaches about these weaknesses in our flesh and how we can overcome them, just as Jesus did. Satan cannot read our minds. He works from the outside, trying to let his destructive ways and thoughts let in to our minds. God works from the inside first and will, in time, change the outside behaviors if we are willing. Gods ways bring life and peace. Satan brings death and destruction. Whose side do you want to follow? Which one do you want to listen to? Isnt it time to know the truth and be set free? Isnt it time for you to get a clue on all that God has for you? Only the devil will keep you in the dark.
