The Lake District is a unique concept and would provide much required relief to people after a stressful day at work. In the Sports City, approximately 875 acre land will be used in providing sports facilities like motor-race track for holding the first proposed Formula One (F1) race by the end of 2011, go-kart facility, stadiums for various sports, a sports centre comprising golf course, and other facilities. The Yamuna Expressway is also poised to become growth engine for all-round economic and industrial growth in western UP, impacting a population of around 30 million in the region. These facilities will provide additional access to people living in these residential complexes. The Yamuna Expressway Authority has already identified ribbon development along Yamuna Expressway to promote Special Development Zones for core industries like IT, industries, biotechnology, services sector, among other commercial developments.
