Anticipating the action is what the pictures that come out with a great shot differ from those with a shot of someone's head after they have landed or a shot of someone's foot after they have kicked a ball and left the area. A photographers, no matter if they are a professional or an armature, needs a good eye, prediction skills and knowing the sport as well as a good hand to steady the camera, even as players are charging towards them.
