StNotepad Touch is a Multi-touch enabled plain text editor for Microsoft Windows 7. The program's name refers to the fact that it is a semi-transparent (glassy) text editor with Multi-touch Capability. This is an enhanced version of StNotepad developed for use on multi-touch devices. It is a professional text editor that features unique gestures apart from the default built-in gestures. Hand gestures are available for many common functions like Copy, Paste, Cut, Delete, Enter, Tab, Space, Backspace, Undo, Redo and more.

StNotepad Touch is precisely designed for editing normal text on multi-touch machines. This software's aesthetic look and feel is competing with the beauty of modern laptops, tablet and slate pcs. This does not support syntax highlighting, auto completion and other programming facilities, hence this software is not proposed for programming.

* The various gestures of StNotepad Touch shown in its gesture image describe the preferred one-hand-two-finger movements. These movements can be played on by any finger and there is no compulsion on the use of a particular finger for a particular gesture. Thus, the gestures can even be performed with two hands as per the user's preference. Accomplition of every gesture is followed by a ScreenTip displaying its name. The ScreenTip can be disabled.
* An easy and accessible circular menu provides an alternative to regular menus. This menu has been designed with multi-touch devices in mind, to provide intuitive access to common editor functions.
* StNotepad Touch affords more importance to the user interface and its customization. With a set of built-in themes it indulge parameters for Opacity, Font Color, Background Color and its design, Control box Color and its design, URL Color, Menu Height, Control box Height, Corner Radius.
* URL detection helps to navigate to required link just by double clicking using finger, stylus or mouse. Hence this software can be used as a surrogate for favourites in web browsers.This feature can be disabled.
* StNotepad Touch does not require a lock on the file it opens, so it can open files already opened by other processes, users or computers. Users cannot loose data since it notifies if the file has modified outside.
