Standing Vs Wall Mounted Fireplaces

What can make your house feel more like home than a roaring fire lite up in your living room on a fall afternoon

? Enjoyed with a glass of wine and a magazine, or maybe you prefer a cup of tea with a good book. I say, not much, nothing says home sweet home quite like a glowing fire in your family room.

Now that you can almost taste that fire, with the soon changing fall leaves, the bright oranges and flaming reds, you need to ask yourself, do you go for a free standing or wall mounted Ventless Gel Fireplace? Do you prefer electric, gel or bio ethanol?? I will give you a little information about both the free standing and wall mounted so you can decide which will be best loved by your family.

Wall Mounted

Pros: The wall mounted ventless fireplace is great especially for those with the less traditional taste, as they have a cleaner more modern and contemporary look to them. Maybe space is an obstacle in your home because of a growing family or you are on your own in a small town house, just another reason wall mounted could be for you. This fireplace is always ready to be used once installed, no mess with real wood. A wall mounted fireplace will not take up that much needed floor space that a free standing fireplace needs.

Cons: If I had to say 1 problem with the wall mounted ventless fireplace it would have to be the fact that you will have to install it. But wait a minute, lots of our wall mounted ventless fireplaces already come 90% assembled. Now if you can deal with the 10% installation that is left, then this could be the choice for you.

Free Standing

Pros: The free standing ventless fireplace is perfect for those who love the look and feel of a traditional fireplace. With a free standing fireplace you dont have to deal with the hassle of replacing and checking the wood constantly just to keep it going. You get artificial logs and place cans of fuel behind them making the logs look lit, they will last around 3 hours. Or if you want it to be even easier than that, you can go for the electric fireplace and all you have to do then is plug it in.

Cons: The biggest down side to a free standing ventless fireplace is the space it will take up. For some this may not be a big deal, but for those who are limited on space in their homes this could become an issue.

Ethanol

Bio ethanol fuel provides the cleanest fire with non-toxic water vapors and carbon dioxide being the only byproducts in this fuel. Clean and odorless without an oily residue this fuel complies with all standards required by the U.S. Government Agencies.

With the different styles and sizes of Ventless Fireplaces from free standing to wall mounted, electric, gel, even bio ethanol fuel fireplaces, why wait any longer. Cold weather is coming soon and the opportunity to warm up, light up, and cozy up your living room is just steps away.
