Star Wars Weekends Celebration In Disney From May 21st

Star Wars celebrations are kicking off from this May 21st with great pomp and panoply.Star

Wars Weekends is an annual special event at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park that celebrates the epic space-fantasy Star Wars Saga and the new animated television series The Clone Wars.Join Jedi Masters, Sith Lords and Star Wars celebrities for special shows, presentations and memorabilia.

Star wars weekends as the name implies, Stars Wars Weekends takes place Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A regular Disney's Hollywood Studios admission is all that's needed to attend this event. The centerpiece of this celebration is the Star Tours attraction. This is one of the few times that you might have to use the Fast Pass option. (This is one of those rides where you wonder why they have FP since there are rarely long waits.) All six of the Star Wars films will be represented: Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. Guests will have opportunities to meet Star Wars characters.

Fans of the Star Wars universe don't have to travel to "a galaxy far, far away" to come face to face with droids, alien creatures and many of their favorite Star Warscharacters. Younglings can hone their light saber skills and prepare to do battle with Darth Vader himself at the Jedi Training Academy. Prove yourself the master of trivia in contests with prize giveaways. Board a runaway Star speeder on the Star Tours attraction, or stare in awe as visitors from Naboo, Endor and every planet between pass by in a motorcade.

Each day at Star wards weekends will end with the Hyperspace Hoopla Show, where many favorites let loose with music, comedy, dancing and more. With Ewoks, Wookiees, Stormtroopers, Jawas and more invading Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park, young Padawan Learners and their parents would need to have their cameras ready as anything can happen at cosmic star war weekends.
