The first thing you need to do is decide what services you wish to offer. You can offer to write books, articles, posts, whatever comes to your mind. Many people are looking for SEO research and Squidoo lenses these days so those are great services to offer as well.

Next you need to decide on a price. I recommend doing a little research to see what other ghostwriters are charging then try to come somewhere in the middle. I can tell you from experience that you don't want to be the cheapest. Yes, you will get lots of work, but you can make more money by charging more and doing less work. Less work is always good.

I would then recommend you build a basic website, telling everyone who you are, what you provide and how much. Also, give people a place to contact you and get more information so they can order some services. If possible, include a picture of yourself as that makes your site more personal and people see you as trustworthy.

You are going to need to advertise around the internet. I recommend joining some forums where bloggers hang out and update your signature to include your URL and your services. Another great site is fiverr.com where you can offer to do something for 5 dollars. This is a good place to get started and find some new clients.

The biggest factor that you need to consider is how much time you have and how much you want to make per hour. Once you come up with that figure then you can price out your work.

Regardless, you have to take action and you can make money very easily.
