This is finally it; you have made the jump and you are running your own business. This is the phase when you need to truly focus on what you want for your business and your way of life. Try to keep the two away from each other as much as possible...this can be really difficult for a good number of people especially if you now work from home a lot. Bear in mind though the main of working for yourself was to better your life in it's entirety. Don't let the new business be a heavy burden to carry...it's there to get you the rewards you have always wanted.

Having something to establish is also a fantastic motivator. Having a parent,spouse,sibling or other major person that is thriving in business creates a fantastic motivation for others to take a crack at. Not out of a sense of rivalry but because it is easy to perceive the love people get from operating their own business, and their own lives.
