Stay In A Bed And Breakfast In San Antonio

I love being a guest at a bed and breakfast

I love being a guest at a bed and breakfast. I also love San Antonio with its wonderful river walk and old chapels. So, what could be better than a trip which includes a river walk and a bed and breakfast accommodation in San Antonio? Even though I have seen a lot of traditional inns in San Antonio, I much prefer to savor the ambience of this romantic, old city while staying in bed and breakfast inns.

First of all, I prefer a bedandbreakfast accommodation over even cheap hotels because I prefer the food at bed and breakfast inns. Personally, I have always had excellent breakfasts at a bed and breakfast house. All too often the food at a hotel consists of a continental breakfast (sweet roll and juice) or cereal and beverage. However, bed breakfast accommodation seems to go all out to ensure your comfort. I love a good hearty breakfast, and the breakfast inns I have stayed at never fail to satisfy me.

When I stay at bed and breakfast inns, the house has always been large and roomy. My rooms have always been wonderfully large and comfortable. I can't say the same thing about the hotels that I have stayed in, except for the very most expensive hotels. But, then at a hotel I don't have the same guest comforts as at bed and breakfast accommodations. I also don't even have a similar wonderful breakfast at a hotel.

I confess that I like to travel on the cheap. Bed and breakfast inns make sense for me because breakfast inns include that marvelous breakfast in their price. So, not only is the bed and breakfast accommodation roomy and comfortable, but I don't have to eat out for a wonderful breakfast. For me, the bed and breakfast price has always made a lot of sense. When I stay in more traditional inns, I have to figure the price of eating out for all my meals into my travel plans, and breakfast isn't nearly as good for the price.

I also find that my bed breakfast hosts are intimately familiar with their city. After all, they live there. So, if I need a guide, I just ask my host about the city. I get great restaurant and entertainment tips and options this way! Of course, the hotel concierge is paid to offer similar services, but I seem to get more insider options for little out-of-the way places this way.

I also love the intimacy of bed and breakfast inns. I love being able to chat with another house guest for a few minutes over breakfast. The pace seems to slow down and make my trip more leisurely and romantic.

Search online for "bed and breakfast San Antonio". You can find a great bed and breakfast house and the opportunity to purchase discount options and certificates. You will love the river walk in downtown San Antonio. That was one of the favorite parts of my trip. I also loved touring all of the old churches.
