Tailgating is a very bad habit to get into and there really is no excuse. Even if you are late getting somewhere, it will not make other drivers go any faster if you are breathing down their necks! In fact, many people will purposely reduce their speed if someone is too near to the back of their car.

Drunk or Drugged Drivers Clean up Your Act!

Most of us will see dangerous drivers nearly every time we go out in our cars, but just how many of these are under the influence of drink or drugs?

So many drinkers are still convinced of their own sobriety, despite some genuinely hard-hitting anti-drunk driving campaigns. And drugs are becoming a bigger menace on our roads every day. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to understand that anyone who has been smoking pot or taking speed is not safe to be in control of a motor vehicle!

Mobile phones are very dangerous items to have in a vehicle and have helped to cause thousands of accidents; you will even see people sending text messages whilst they are driving around!

But distraction comes in all shapes and sizes; looking through handbags, talking to the kids in the back seat and scrabbling around in your pocket for a boiled sweet. All of these make great ingredients for a loss of concentration, a nasty bump and an Accident compensation claim!

Better late than never may be an age-old adage, but it is still just as true today!

All of us will be tempted to put our foot down now and again, but it really isnt a good idea. Speed limits are there for our own safety and we should always remember this, no matter how annoying they can be.
