Whenever your floor gets dirty, you just bring out the mop and start cleaning it
. This has been the way of doing things for centuries and there really hasn't been much of an advance in the way we do things. Sometimes people will get down on their hands and knees with a brush to scrub the floor. There is a much more efficient way of doing this that is superior to the old and tiring way of cleaning the floor. What I'm talking about is a steam mop and using the power of steam to clean the floor, instead of your own elbow grease.
Steam is something that people really underestimate because it is just water. When you boil up water, you end up with steam and it doesn't seem that exciting or powerful. You get some lemon scented cleaner and you think that is the power stuff. When you have hot steam blasted at dirt on the floor, it comes flying off. It literally comes flying off and you won't get that with a chemical cleaner. Steam is capable of cleaning the most stubborn and caked on dirt that a regular mop won't even get.
But most people go with the steam mop because they really like the fact that it's still powerful, yet doesn't use the chemicals. Chemicals have been shown to actually harm household pets and even children that end up crawling on the floor. You don't want those types of chemicals in your home. It's just not a safe environment for it. When you get the floors a steaming they only have water on them and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.
This seems to be the current trend people are following as of late. Steam seems to be the cleaning product of choice because of the power it possesses and the safety it provides for your living environment. I expect to see this trend to continue and see steam take up more of the cleaning market.
