Bold and bright designs are taking center stage with end of year fashion that steps just as easily into the start of the next year. Mixing plain patterns with busy ones is the basis for stepping up and standing out in the fashion world. The wild and crazy prints and patterns from the late 60s and early 70s are making their way to pants, dresses and jackets as a winter fashion must-have. Leaving the bell bottoms and vintage look behind, these designs are rejuvenated when matched with leggings or pants that highlight suede or leather booties that accentuate the heel. Do not be afraid to mix and match items that may have two different patterns. While mens fashion widely depends on the man wearing the clothes, he could be comfortable in a tee and jeans or stand out in designer Armani. One of the hottest trends in mens fashion pushing into the winter months is velvet. Taking center stage at many red carpet events are velvet suits.
