Steve Korch Has Influenced The Lives Of Many People

Steve Korch is an outstanding speaker who is often invited to speak at conferences, retreats and church gatherings. During his twenty years of pastoral experience, he has served three different denominations in churches of small, medium and large congregations. Presently, he is working as a full-time professor at Western Seminary in Northern California. He is also a published author. His first book, My Soul Thirsts, received superb response from readers. His other books which include Coming to Your Senses, The Legionaire's Son and The Presence are to be released very soon.

After his first semester in the college, Steve served as a co-pilot in Vietnam for a year. Following his time in military, he earned B.A. in History from Biola University and an M.Div from Western Seminary. Serving as a pastor at Faith Baptist Church in Lincoln City, he played an important role in launching of several development programs such as a building program, a radio ministry, a bookstore and a kindergarten. From 1987 to 1990, Steve Korch served at Fair Oaks Baptist Church in Concord, California and from 1990 to 1999; he served as senior pastor at First Baptist Church in San Mateo. Steve is a devoted follower of Jesus and has helped many people to discover the personal transformation which comes from knowing Jesus.

Born in 1950, Steve Korch was raised in a typical middle class family. He has lived most of his life on the West Coast and now resides in Santa Cruz, California. He teaches courses applied theology such as "Thinking Theologically about Ministry", "Learning to Love God and Others", and "Practicing Prayer and Other Spiritual Disciplines".
