. A full-time professor at Western Seminary in Northern California, Steve Korch is also a published author and an impressive speaker. Steve Korch is often invited to speak at church services, camps, conferences and retreats. In his role as a full-time professor at Western Seminary in Northern California, Steve teaches applied theology and communication skills. Steve Korch also pastored three West Coast churches in three different denominations over a span of twenty years.

Born in 1950, Steve Korch spent his formative years in the Santa Cruz area of California. After his first semester in college, Steve joined the Army and served as a co-pilot in Vietnam for a year. Following his time in the military, Steve Korch returned to college and earned a B.A. in History from Biola University and an M.Div from Western Seminary. After completing his education, Steve Korch served at Faith Baptist Church in Lincoln City, Oregon. He spent nine years there and saw the church grow from the smallest church in town to one of the largest churches in the county. Under Steves guidance, several developmental projects were launched in the church including a building program, a radio ministry, a bookstore and a kindergarten. He also served as ER chaplain at the local hospital in Lincoln City. Steve Korch then served at Fair Oaks Baptist Church in Concord, California from 1987 to 1990, and for nine years, Steve Korch CA was the senior pastor of First Baptist Church in San Mateo. In his time as a senior pastor, Steve worked through the many challenges and exciting opportunities that come with congregations comprised of culturally and spiritually diverse people. His speaking and teaching have helped people discover the love of Jesus Christ and find a new purpose in life.
